Selection Criteria 

Presentation submissions are evaluated on the following criteria:

  1. Complete presentation submission, submitted by the deadline.

  2. Session learning level is appropriate for the audience and topic.

  3. Identification of three actionable learner outcomes that follow the sentence: After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:

  4. Presentation is designed to encourage high audience interaction/participation.

    1. Presentation – Must be designed to include 40 minutes of presentation content with key tips, solutions, and takeaways.

    2. Postscript Discussions – Presentation will be followed by an activity facilitated by the content leader, 20 minutes in length, where attendees discuss in small group discussions and/or participate in Q&A facilitated by the presenter so that learners can apply and share what they have learned.

  5. Content is technology focused, current, practical, and/or innovative.

  6. External Speaker Policy – An External Speaker refers to a speaker who is not a member of ConnexFM and has a commercial interest and who is considered as a potential supplier member. External Speakers will not be considered eligible to present to a formal ConnexFM audience except in the following situations:

    1. External Speaker is a professional speaker and primary business is speaking.

    2. External Speaker has been invited by the ConnexFM Technology Council or ConnexFM Association to submit a proposal for consideration. 

    3. External Speaker has a reciprocal partnership that exists between ConnexFM and said speaker/organization.
